Erick G. Palomares Rodríguez (México D.F., 1985) Licenciado con Mención Honorífica en Relaciones Internacionales por el Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente ITESO, México. Maestro en Desarrollo, Innovación y Cambio por la Universidad de Bolonia, Italia.  

Actualmente es estudiante del Doctorado en Gobierno y Administración Pública del Instituto Universitario de Investigación Ortega y Gasset (IUIOyG), de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, España.  Su tesis de licenciatura, “Espacios de participación ciudadana en las campañas electorales” fue premiada por el Instituto Electoral y de Participación Ciudadana del estado de Jalisco en México. A su vez, su tesis de maestría discute la emergencia y creciente promoción del “social entrepreneurship” (Emprendedurismo Social) y del "philantrocapitalism" (Filantrocapitalismo) como soluciones a la crisis económica actual. Ha sido investigador del Centro de Estudios sobre México de la Unión Europea, CESMUE.

Ha trabajado en el sector público a nivel local en el gobierno de Guadalajara, México, en diversos puestos de responsabilidad en distintas áreas del gobierno: la oficina del alcalde, la dirección de vinculación política y en el instituto municipal de atención a la juventud.

Además cuenta con experiencia en campañas electorales a nivel local y nacional en México y Venezuela. 

Erick G. Palomares Rodríguez (Mexico D.F., 1985) Bachelor Cum Laudem in Arts in International Relations at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente ITESO, Mexico; Master in Development, Innovation and Change at the Uniersity of Bolonga, Italy. He is now doing a Ph. D. in Government and Public Administration at the Instituto Universitario de Investigación Ortega y Gasset, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, España. His bachelors thesis, “opportunities for participation in electoral campaigns” was award by the Citizens Participation and Electoral Institute of the Jalisco state in Mexico. In his master thesis he discusses the emergence and increasing promotion of “social entrepreneurship” and “philantrocapitalism” as solutions for the economic crisis. He has been researcher at the European Center for Mexican Studies, CESMUE.

He has worked in the public sector at the local government of Guadalajara, México. His has experienced diverse responsibility positions in different areas of the local government: the Office of the Mayor, the Political Affairs Office and the Municipal Youth Institute.

He has also professional experience in electoral campaigns at local and national level in Mexico and Venezuela.
