Diversidad política femenina: ¿Cómo construyen y proyectan su imagen las mujeres ecuatorianas?
Abstract
In this research, of a descriptive, non-experimental, inductive and interpretative type, we propose a qualitative study through which we seek to know how Ecuadorian women politicians perceive themselves and how do they project their image? This is done through the analysis of two multiple dissimilar cases of women who have participated in the local political arena. Techniques related to qualitative approaches were used, namely: in-depth interview and participant observation. In the analysis, it was observed that these women possess leadership skills, are predisposed to service and seek the common good. It is concluded that the construction of the image of these women politicians is intimately related to their leadership, personality, convictions and style of communication.
