Representación mediática de la Reserva Van der Hammen en Colombia
¿Conflicto socioambiental o conflicto político?
Abstract
This article exposes the results of the analysis of the media representation, about the conflict of the Thomas Van der Hammen Reserve in Bogotá during 2016. For this purpose, the methodology employed will be of a qualitative cut, using the analysis of the news discourse as a method. published by the newspapers El Espectador y El Tiempo. Likewise, the investigation technique will be based on semi-structured interviews with key actors in the film. The results will allow to affirm that, the media representation of this Reserve was realized from institutional sources, ignoring the social actors like the inhabitants of the zone and it was constructed from “in context” facts. Likewise, the press represented the Reserve as a political conflict, between Enrique Peñalosa, against environmental groups in the country and opposition groups to the district administration.
